Steve Howe, Nu Flow Vice President

Steve Howe’s sales and marketing background spans over twenty-five years, in both domestic and overseas markets. Mr. Howe’s entrepreneurial ambitions began in 1983 through employment with Items International, Inc. as its national and international sales and marketing manager. Having grown up in Arcadia, California on a skateboard, Mr. Howe recognized the need for a specially-designed shoe just for skateboards. Items International ultimately launched an international entity which is today better known as Airwalk, manufacturer and distributor of the still-popular ‘skateboard shoe.’ Mr. Howe was a central player in the conception, design, manufacture, distribution, and sales both domestically and internationally of a company which is still a major player in the sport shoe marketplace today.

Mr. Howe’s sales and marketing experience has been applied in other industries as well, including Yankton Products International, and with General Motors’ Chevrolet line of vehicles by his special design of a commercial fleet line of truck bodies currently marketed nationally by Chevrolet to the plumbing industry.

While working with the plumbing industry, Mr. Howe became familiar with the unique challenges and needs faced by the industry in general. His solution-oriented naure ultimately led Mr. Howe to discover potable epoxy pipe lining technology which, in limited use in the United States is still considered today to be a relatively new innovation in an industry much attached to traditional plumbing methods. After working with a lining competitor of Nu Flow since 2002, Mr. Howe ultimately joined the Nu Flow companies as Vice-President in September of 2005. In less than two years, earnings growth in the San Diego market, an area which Mr. Howe carries primary responsibility, will reach approximately $4,000,000 million dollars (USD) in 2007.

Acting in true partnership, Mr. Manners and Mr. Howe share responsibility for company operations, the fiscal health of the company, overall growth strategy, and both men share equally in all decisions affecting the best interests and well-being of the Nu Flow companies. While Mr. Manners oversees the manufacturing arm of the companies, and is a strong asset with product research and development, as well as an accomplished liaison with licensees and clients, Mr. Howe’s primary responsibility focuses on sales and marketing of Nu Flow products and services. Mr. Howe is a competent businessman, an extremely skilled negotiator, and a strong leader in managing sales and marketing forces. His considerable experience in overseas manufacturing and distribution arenas may prove to be an additional asset to the companies. Mr. Howe is exceptionally capable in recognizing financial and expansion opportunities and in utilizing the most advantageous means of exploiting potential opportunities for the benefit of the Nu Flow companies.
